Idea notebook
Drawings and writing immediate ideas
Figma depending on project
Scan and trace with tablet
Inspiration searching — It’s Nice That search, Instagram but not too much inspiration, doesn’t use Pinterest but wants to (not used to sourcing inspiration)
Separate from existing work
Keep iterating, printing and prototypes
Doesn’t allocate time / schedule to guide the process
Ask friends for opinions, especially on tangible objects

What are the challenges in your creative process?
Artist block
Being comfortable making art
Printing and getting margins correct (ie. double sided alignment), very manual
Map out your creative journey
(1) Pre-creation - 30% backlog
(2) Creation - 60% largest amount of focus here
(3) Post-creation - 10% in sharing work, primarily on Instagram
Favorite design tools and why?
Figma - designing and translating to websites
Tool to split colors for riso printing - niche tool for printmaking processes
Airdrop / notes app scan - easy to translate from written to digital
